Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 cup dill pickle juice
- 1 cup milk + 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Peanut or canola oil for frying
Instructions
- Brine the chicken pieces in pickle juice for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Whisk milk and egg in one bowl; combine flour, powdered sugar, and spices in another.
- Dip each piece in egg wash, then coat in the seasoned flour.
- Fry at 350°F for 3–4 minutes until golden and cooked through (165°F internal).
- Drain on a wire rack and serve with your favorite copycat sauce.
